Potential Site's Outlined
OPTION 1
The red box is my main pocket park site from the Major Project Preparation (roughly) 897m2.
The dotted red line is the potential site choice option 1, for the Hybrid Sustainable Housing (roughly 4894m2).
The pocket park will act as the public entrance onto the site, a taster of what will be inside the hybrid building.
With this site I would be removing:
- The ASDA car park
- Along the west, 23 residencies
- To the north, 7 shops with 5 residencies above
OPTION 2
Again the main site is filled in in red at roughly 897m2.
The red dotted line outlines option 2 for the Hybrid Housing (roughly) 2611m2.
With this site I would be removing:
- The ASDA car park
- 6 residencies
OPTION 3
The red dotted line outlines the final option for the Hybrid Housing at (roughly) 3206m2.
With this site I would be removing:
- The ASDA car park
- 9 residencies
In order to pick a site I need a better idea about the size requirements for each function and also the neighbouring height restrictions. However, I currently believe option 3 is the most likely choice as it links to the pocket park nicely and only removes 10 residencies.
